Stray Kids RUN IT Tour 2026: Japan Stadium Record & Dates

Stray Kids RUN IT Tour 2026: Japan Stadium Record & Dates

Stray Kids have turned their RUN IT World Tour into one of the biggest K-pop stories of 2026. Over two nights, August 29–30, the JYP Entertainment group played Tokyo's National Stadium (MUFG Stadium) in front of about 140,000 people — and became the first overseas male act to hold a solo concert there. Every Japan date has sold out, three Tokyo Dome shows have been added, and the next stop is Fukuoka on October 24. Here is everything you need to know.

A record-breaking weekend in Tokyo

The Japan leg of RUN IT opened with two stadium nights that local media described as historic. Around 140,000 fans filled the National Stadium, and JYP Entertainment said that about 175,000 people took part in total once the paid livestream and live-viewing audiences for the August 30 show were counted.

After the second show, the members told the crowd it was "surely a day to remember," thanking STAY for "creating a sight so stunning it made us doubt our eyes." On the same night the group announced three extra Tokyo Dome dates for November 6–8.

What they played: setlist highlights

The concert opened with "Wi-injeon" and moved through a career-spanning run: "Hellevator," "Side Effects," "Double Knot," "MANIAC," "God's Menu," "Thunderous," "S-Class" and the new "This & That."

Japanese fans also got surprises. "just a little" from the Japanese mini album Hollow and "Sukmyeong" were performed live for the first time, alongside the Japanese version of "CASE 143" and "Social Path (Feat. LiSA)."

Why the numbers matter

With the added Tokyo Dome shows, the Japan leg now totals ten concerts across five venues, and the agency expects about 520,000 people to attend in Japan alone. That kind of stadium-and-dome run is usually reserved for the very biggest domestic Japanese acts.

The tour also rides a record streak in the United States: the mini album THIS & THAT, released August 7, gave Stray Kids their ninth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — the most No. 1 albums of any group this century, according to Korean press reports.

Fan reaction: how STAY are responding

Across social media, fans have been sharing wide shots of the stadium lit up by lightsticks and calling the Tokyo weekend a "career moment." Many international STAY who could not travel watched the livestream, which helped push the total audience well past the venue's capacity.

The quick sell-out of every Japan date — and the immediate addition of Tokyo Dome — is the clearest sign of demand. Fans in Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok and Singapore are now watching closely for ticketing news.

What's next for Stray Kids

Next up is Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on October 24, followed by the three Tokyo Dome nights on November 6–8. Their fourth Japanese mini album, SUIATSU, arrives on November 25, and the members say they are "confident in our next album as well."

The Asia leg then continues to Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong and the Taipei Dome in December, before IMPACT Arena in Bangkok and Singapore Indoor Stadium in early 2027. JYP has described these Asia dates as part one of the tour, so more regions are expected to be announced.
