Incheon Chinatown & Wolmido Day Trip: Transit & Costs

Incheon Chinatown is Korea’s only official Chinatown and the birthplace of jjajangmyeon, Korea’s favorite black-bean noodles. Right outside Incheon Station on Line 1, it combines easily with the murals of Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village and the seaside promenade of Wolmido.

Trip type: Day Trip from Seoul · Best for: foodies, families, seaside walks · Travel time from central Seoul: about 1–1.3 hours by subway

Why Visit Incheon Chinatown

Founded in 1884 when Incheon port opened, the area mixes Chinese-style streets, the Jjajangmyeon Museum, Freedom Park and 1930s Japanese-era buildings. Wolmido adds an amusement strip, sea views and seafood.
